چکیده
Abstract We consider the vertical motion of a free falling ball bouncing elastically on racket moving in direction according to regular 1-periodic function f . For fixed coprime p , q we study existence, stability sense Lyapunov and multiplicity periodic motions making bounces period. If is real analytic prove that one unstable give some information set these motions.

SOME REMARKS ON WEAKLY INVERTIBLE FUNCTIONS IN THE UNIT BALL AND POLYDISK
We will present an approach to deal with a problem of existence of (not) weakly invertible functions in various spaces of analytic functions in the unit ball and polydisk based on estimates for integral operators acting between functional classes of different dimensions.
متن کاملSome Remarks on Almost Periodic Transformations
1. Recurrent and almost periodic transformations. Notations. Let ƒ be a continuous mapping (not necessarily a homeomorphism) of a topological space X in itself (that is, f(X)QX). We say that ƒ is recurrent a t a point # £ X , or that x is recurrent under ƒ, if, given any neighbourhood U(x) of x, there exist infinitely many positive integers n for which f(x)ÇE.U(x). (This definition is equivalen...
متن کاملThe Completely Inelastic Bouncing Ball
The motion of the inelastic bouncing ball is examined. The time of flight is modelled through numerical simulation using MATLAB. Then the time of flight is experimentally verified using a metal block constrained to move in one direction mounted to a vibration table. Time of flight is measured using a continuity sensor. Bifurcation diagrams are created for a range of accelerations and compared t...
متن کاملTransversal stability of the bouncing ball on a concave surface.
A ball bouncing repeatedly on a vertically vibrating surface constitutes the famous "bouncing ball" problem, a nonlinear system used in the 1980s, and still in use nowadays, to illustrate the route to chaos by period doubling. In experiments, in order to avoid the ball escape that would be inevitable with a flat surface, a concave lens is often used to limit the horizontal motion. However, we o...
متن کاملBouncing skew Brownian motions
We consider two skew Brownian motions, driven by the same Brownian motion, with different starting points and different skewness coefficients. In [13], the evolution of the distance between the two processes, in local time scale and up to their first hitting time is shown to satisfy a stochastic differential equation with jumps. The jumps of this S.D.E. are naturally driven by the excursion pro...
